Introducing Mr. Joseph Torre...

So, Dodger Fans, is Torre enough? What will he bring and what else do we need to take over the baseball world?

I just copied and pasted this from the email I sent out. SOme of you have already readit.

Well, they better do something other than hiring some old guy who won with an inflated payroll.
If Torre is the only change then I think we are looking at mediocrity AGAIN. As much as I like
the young Dodgers, you can't win a World Series on potential or prospects and I am sick of the
hearing about how much better the American League is than the National League. I think the Dodgers
have real chance to make a statement now and show the fans and all of baseball that LA Rocks!
Come on, we're talking about the LOS ANGELES DODGERS here! They should be revered and
feared every year as much as the Red Sox and Yankees instead of being laughed at. They owe it to
Dodger fans and to the entire National League to step things up to the highest level. I heard one
radio personality commenting about the World Series say, "Come on National League, is that the best
you've got?" Dodger BLUE should refer to pride and honor not your current emotional state of mind.

p.s. One thing is for sure if the Angels sign A-Rod then I am never turning on AM radio again.

i am just not into baseball! need i say anymore. i am just joking. actually, the only thing that i really know is that the dodgers always start the season off great and somehow end up sucking at the end.

I think Joe Torre is what we need to go to the next level. He had A-Rod, Jeter, Rivera, Posada, and other over inflated egos calling him Mr. Torre. I think he can whip some of the pre-Madonna players into shape.

If you have ever listened to Joe Torre interview, you come away saying, I want him to manage my team.

Just remember this one thing. Torre won all his World Series titles - 4 - with a relatively young group of stars. Once the Yanks started piling on the Names and Vets, they couldn't get past the egos.

I think the Dodgers have the tools and now they have the manager.

It's like butter and popcorn, they go together nicely.

I think Walter Altson would've been a good choice.
